“The proof is in the pudding”

There was a story on the news yesterday about a woman in a mall who lit herself on fire, then walked thru the mall to get out (still in flames). Today they put the story on again and was wondering why only 3 people helped her. Now, I know I harp on this all the time but here’s the proof. People do not care about other people. Some even took pictures and video with their phones! Why she did it no one knows, but the fact that people watched without helping shocked the news world. I was telling my wife, I would have kicked the woman down and ran to a clothes store and grabbed a bunch of clothes and covering her until the fire was out. The store alarm would’ve gone off and they’d call 911 on me and found the woman. This would have taken all of 3 minutes to take place and the woman would not have been so burned.

My wife thinks the people have seen so much on TV that they didn’t know if it was real or for TV. The woman didn’t say a word or scream out for help, which tells my that she wanted to die, that she had nothing else to lose. What would you do? Would you save the woman or just watch her as she walked to her death? See the reason I’m not shocked at the way the people reacted is, as I said in so many blogs, here in Miami and most big hubs, people don’t care.

In other news, a football player who went to jail for using fighting dogs as a sport, after “doing his time” was picked up by the football team (get this) the eagles! When doing a report with a primetime news anchor he was all smiles and said “I regret what I did and (still smiling) I’m sorry about the dogs that lost their lives” can you believe what he said? Think about it like this, the devil tells you that hell is a nice place and has central A/C and says it with a smile, would you believe him? Now, my feeling are that if you do something to an animal, the same thing should be done to you. Put this guy in a cage with a cannibal and tell him to fight for his life, oh yeah, tie his hands too.

Well, I get upset with things like this and no one seems to care, or they just don’t want to hear about it.

Mankind has fallen so deep into a hole that we will never get out, and we are leaving this hell for the kids to clean up. Who knows, maybe they’ll get it right…then again…maybe not
